Binding Minds is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU -
Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North
Carolina.Job Description & Requirements
MUST HAVE: Candidates without these skills will not be considered
for the role.
-- Stepdown or progressive care experience
-- Telemetry experience
-- Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like
nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin
drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix; etc.
PREFERRED OR NICE TO HAVE: Candidates with these skills will be
considered first.
-- Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin).
-- Relief charge experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: BLS, ACLS, NIH
ABOUT THE UNIT(s):
-- Number of Beds - 40
-- Patient Ratios -1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratio
-- Type of patients: patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia,
Pulmonary Hypertension; valvular disease, endocarditis; DKA; post
cardiac cath/stent; post pacer/ICD/ ablation.
-- Type of equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipments, bladder
scanner;
-- EMR - Cerner
