Position: Dental Hygienist Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 5 PM Job Type: Full-time Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary Health insurance reimbursement Free dental care for employees and their immediate families Life insurance and disability insurance Paid vacation Paid holidays Scrub allowance 401(k) plan Flexible spending account Health savings account Vision insurance Responsibilities: Ensure patients feel comfortable before examinations Properly sterilize dental instruments Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis Clean and protect patients' teeth (e.g., remove plaque, apply fluoride) Educate patients of all ages on proper oral care techniques Provide post-operative instructions to patients Take X-rays and dental impressions Assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatments for various conditions, including oral cancer Maintain documentation and charts for each patient Monitor and manage supplies Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA compliance) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills Patient and friendly demeanor Strong attention to detail Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job Diploma in Dental Hygiene; a Master's degree is a plus Valid license to practice If you are a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist seeking a rewarding career in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply.
