• Employment Type: Travel Unit Information: Progressive Care Unit Location: Mission Hospital Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue Asheville, NC, 28801 Floor: K7 Building: K Tower General Information Tell us about the unit (s) : Number of Beds - 44 beds Number of Staff - 95 Type of staff: Day Shift - Grid- 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNA, 1 HUC Night Shift - Grid- 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNA, 1 HUC Patient Ratios - 4/1 at grid 5/1 stretched Type of equipment - IV pumps, Skylift , PCA pump, Chest tube, Trachs , Patient lifts EMR - Cerner Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Neuro and Trauma Care experience Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Neuro and Trauma Care experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Neuro and spinal checks C-Collar placement, TLSO braces Chest tube, PCA pump, IV infusions Lumber drain Feeding tube placement Blood transfusion Best personality Fit: Team player, patient focused REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Floating Area ( s ) : Stepdown units, Med-surg units Dress Code : Scrub Color /Attire - Navy blue Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines .
