Description Specialization:Psychiatry Child and AdolescentJob Summary: Mission Health is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team, located in Asheville, North Carolina.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified or board eligible
• Experience with common co-occurring conditions such as trauma spectrum, eating disorders, and substance use disorders
• 100% inpatient Creek
• 24 Bed Child & Adolescent Unit
• 7 On/7 Off Schedule
• 10 Hr Shifts
• Provides Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) consultation with employed primary care integrated clinicians

    • 120-bed freestanding psychiatric hospital, Sweeten Creek, which opened in 2023
    • 23-bed emergency department psychiatric evaluation area and 10-bed behavioral health pod in the new Mission Hospital emergency department
    • Consultation on the pediatrics service and in the emergency department
    • Active ECT program
