Registered Nurse (RN) - CV Stepdown The CV Stepdown Registered Nurse cares for patients transitioning from intensive cardiac care to a less acute setting. This role focuses on close monitoring, patient education, and support during recovery. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics, intervening as needed.
• Assess patient readiness for stepdown and coordinate safe transfers.
• Provide ongoing education on cardiac health, medications, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with cardiology teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all care activities and changes in patient status. Work Environment:
  • Within a specialized stepdown or progressive care unit.
  • Patients have complex cardiac needs but require fewer interventions than ICU.
