Description

Stier Supply Company, an industry leader in the manufacturing and installation of interior and exterior doors for over 70 years, is currently seeking a Traveling Field Technician for our MultiFamily Division. This role will assist in properly verifying that orders are correct and projects are ready and remain on time per the schedule. The ideal candidate will have some previous experience in the construction industry and some experience using hand and power tools. Must be a self-starter, able to manage tight deadlines, and willing to travel across multiple states (SC, NC, GA, and TN).

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Promote and follow all Stier Supply safety guidelines and constantly strive for zero incidents/injuries.
• Travel from site to site across SC, NC, TN & GA.
• Assist in verifying job sites are ready for material delivery and installation.
• Assist in verifying orders are correct and delivered to the correct location.
• Oversee on-site quality control by directing and working closely with crews and by completing jobs yourself.
• Manage and complete punchlists for each job.
• Understand and follow the proper process for placing orders when needed.
• Install/Repair any doors and trim that may be needed
• Communicate how 'We Make It Happen' for the customers to ensure a great trade partner relationship
• Stay current and educate others on industry trends and news. Ideal Candidate Attributes:

    Position Requirements
    
    Requirements:
    • Must be able and willing to travel across SC, NC, TN, & GA.
    • Must drive a vehicle that can safely transport 16ft material to various jobsites.
    • Proficient in Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
    • Valid driver's license and insured personal vehicle for daily use.
    • Employment eligibility.
    • Able to pass drug & background screening.
    • Be able to lift 50+ lbs. of material repetitively
