TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801 Pay Information $1,764 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Pediatrics Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: PALS, BLS, and APHON (for oncology) Must-Have: Pediatric experience in a hospital setting, Pediatric Oncology experience preferred Job Description: - Work within a pediatric and oncology unit with a total of 19 beds (13 pediatric beds and 6 oncology beds). - Collaborate with a team consisting of 22 staff members, including both pediatric and oncology nursing staff. - Provide care during day shifts alongside 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 respiratory therapist, and 1 patient care technician. - Handle varying patient ratios from 1:3, 1:4, or 1:5. - Utilize Alaris pumps and electronic medical records system, Cerner. - Engage in typical procedures specific to pediatric and oncology care. - Demonstrate a detail-oriented and organized approach to care. - Be available for weekend shifts, covering 6 weekend days with 2 being Saturdays. - Be prepared to float to NICU and PICU as needed. - Maintain a professional appearance with required scrub colors of navy blue or a white top. 27227706EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
